Partnership with Pro Football Hall of Fame
Centene's partnership with the Pro Football Hall of Fame (PFHOF), which began in 2017, focuses on various community engagement and health awareness initiatives. The partnership's flagship program, Strong Youth Strong Communities™ (SYSC), leads these efforts alongside other significant programs such as Salute to Service, which honors veterans during Super Bowl events. In 2024, the partnership plans to participate in No One Eats Alone Day, host five SYSC events across different states and engage in Salute to Service activities, including preparations for the upcoming Super Bowl in New Orleans. Additionally, collaborative efforts will be showcased at the Big Brothers Big Sisters annual conference.

No One Eats Alone®
Fornearly adecade, theCentene Foundationhas proudly supported, anationalprogram led by Sandy Hook Promise. The initiative provides schools with free resources and activities that empower students to take the lead in fostering connections during everyday moments like lunchtime. These student‑led efforts encourage simple, consistent actions that bring peers together and help strengthen the overall school experience.
Many of Centene's health plansparticipatedby hosting in-person or online eventspromoting awareness and driving changewith schools in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Texas, Florida and other states. Following Centene's local approach, each school put their own spin on the event.
National Urban League
The is an organization focused on promoting economic empowerment through education and job training, community and workforce development, entrepreneurship, health and quality of life for African Americans and others in underserved communities. Centene has long partnered with the Urban League to address critical needs in urban centers across the U.S., and we’re proud to continue our ongoing support of its mission to create a more inclusive and empowered society and to, ultimately, improve the health of the communities we serve.
In 2024, Centene donated its former Ferguson, Missouri claims facility to the . The Centene Connected Community Center will support vital workforce development, education and empowerment services and programs, housing and re-entry programs, as well as a regional food distribution center, in collaboration with other community partners.
Centene's CEO Sarah London joined the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis (ULSTL) President and CEO Michael McMillan at the grand opening of the Centene Connected Community Center in Ferguson, Missouri on July30,2024.
